FAQ

1. Does @transhappinessisreal know you’re selling his work?

Yes! He’s my friend (irl) and we’re working together on his products. He’s selling through me so he doesn’t have to run a shop himself. If you want to check, feel free to message him at @transhappinessisreal on Instagram, or [email protected]

2. Why do you charge for shipping?

My shipping costs are directly based on Royal Mail costs to ship to the UK and to everywhere else. Higher priced items will be shipped ‘signed for’ and so will have higher shipping costs.

Items will ship within a week of your order date, and if you're in the UK they should be with you within 2 weeks of your ordering (does depend on Royal Mail X coronavirus delays at the time).

3. Do you do refunds?

Some pieces are made to order, so please allow 3-4 weeks from your order date for your order to reach you. If your order has not arrived, or has arrived damaged, please email [email protected] with details to enquire about a replacement or refund.

4. How does your sizing work?

Printing on thrifted t shirts means regulated sizing is difficult to achieve. I list the given size and the original shop where I can, as well as provide chest (from armpit to armpit across the garment) and length (from the top of the shoulder down) measurements of the garment. I recommend comparing the measurements of your own favourite t shirt to help you get the best fit for you. The original shops of the thrifted stock still mostly divide their sizing by gender, so I list whether the shirt came from the ‘men’s’ or ‘women’s’ section, just so you can use that to help judge fit and size too.

5. Can I get a discount?

I want my work (and art in general) to be as accessible as possible, so keep an eye out for seconds sales and discounts, which I’ll advertise on my Instagram @commongardenpan. (https://www.instagram.com/commongardenpan/?hl=en)

6. What’s a seconds sale?

99% of my work is hand-made and home-made, which means sometimes a piece doesn’t come out exactly perfectly, though it’s still made with heart. Some might even say these slightly wonky ones are the most authentic crafted pieces… Anyway, they’re called ‘seconds’, and I’ll be selling them at a discounted rate when I have them. So if you don’t mind a slightly smudged letter or bumpy edge, this is a way to pick up some hand-made art at cheaper prices.
